Event Details
The 33th InterVarsity Buddhist Youth Camp will be held from 14th July to 22nd July 2017. This camp is organized by University Tun Hussien Onn Malaysia Pu Ti Yuan Buddhist Fellowship with the cooperation of Taiping Buddhist Association. The theme of the camp is “Heart Sutra”. The camp will be held at Taiping Buddhist Association and the number of participants is estimated to be 280 people undergraduates and postgraduates from Malaysia and overseas. The advisor of the camp is Rev. Shi Ji Chern, the theme speaker is Rev. Shi Chi Xiang, and the main meditation teacher is Rev. Shi Ji Chi. Due to the impact of inflation and most of the participants of this camp are university students with limited financial ability, we are unable to fully cover the expenses by merely camp fees. Therefore, we need to look for sponsorship for this camp. By referring to our budget estimation, we still lack of around RM11,000.
